Not a payment aggregator, bank, or escrow
IndieVouch does not hold, settle, or have custody of anyone's money at any point. A payment made through a link, button or storefront goes directly from the buyer's UPI app to the seller's own registered VPA. IndieVouch does not occupy the position a licensed payment aggregator, bank, or escrow service does, and sellers should not represent it as one.
Not legal, tax, or financial advice
Nothing on this site — including the Trust, Pricing or FAQ pages — is legal, tax, or financial advice. Whether you need business registration, GST, or any other compliance step to sell what you sell is a question for a qualified professional, not for this software.
Automatic confirmation depends on things outside our control
Reading and matching a bank's SMS alert depends on that bank sending a standard-format message, and on the buyer's forwarding method — MacroDroid, Tasker, Automate, or a Shortcut — running reliably on their device. Delays, unusual SMS formats, or a phone being offline can all delay or prevent automatic matching. It's a convenience on top of a payment that has already happened, not the payment itself.
We don't vet what sellers sell
Buyers transact directly with the seller they're paying, not with IndieVouch. We don't review, endorse, or guarantee the quality, legality, or delivery of any product or service sold through a link, button, or storefront.
Third-party apps and services
UPI apps (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, or a bank's own app), bank SMS delivery, and automation tools like MacroDroid, Tasker, Automate, and iOS Shortcuts are all operated by other companies. Their availability, behaviour, and reliability are outside our control.
