What IndieVouch is
IndieVouch is a tool for generating UPI payment links, buttons and storefronts that point at your own VPA, and for automatically matching your bank's payment confirmations to the right order. It is not a payment aggregator, does not hold or move funds on your behalf, and is not a party to whatever you're selling — see Disclaimer for the full statement.
Who can use it
You need a UPI ID linked to a bank account you control, and you must be able to legally receive payment for whatever you intend to sell.
Your responsibilities as a seller
You're responsible for accurately describing what you sell, honouring orders you accept payment for, and complying with whatever tax, business-registration or consumer-protection rules apply to your own selling activity — IndieVouch doesn't determine or advise on those for you. You're also responsible for only forwarding SMS from a device and bank account you own, and for keeping your API keys, webhook secrets and account password to yourself.
The sale is between you and your buyer
IndieVouch generates the payment request and records what happened to it — it is not a party to the contract for whatever's being sold. Disputes about quality, delivery or legality of a purchase are between the seller and the buyer, not something IndieVouch adjudicates or is liable for.
Credits
Signing up includes an initial batch of credits. Beyond that, credits are only spent creating or regenerating a storefront — see Pricing for current amounts. Every sale you take, on any surface, is free. Credits you buy are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
Refunds you give a buyer
Because IndieVouch never holds the money from a sale, marking an order "refunded" on the dashboard is a record-keeping action, not a money transfer. Actually returning funds to a buyer — however you choose to do that — is between you and them.
Automatic confirmation is a convenience, not a guarantee
Matching a bank SMS to an order depends on your bank sending a readable alert and your phone or Shortcut forwarding it promptly — both outside our control. Verify anything important yourself rather than relying on automatic matching alone for high-value orders.
Acceptable use
Don't use IndieVouch to sell anything illegal, to launder money, or to run activity that, under applicable law, actually requires a licensed payment aggregator rather than a direct-to-your-own-account link. We can suspend or terminate an account for abuse, illegal use, or violating these terms.
No uptime guarantee
The service is provided as-is, without a service-level guarantee. We aim to keep it running reliably, but don't promise a specific uptime figure.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, IndieVouch's liability to you for anything arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in credits over the preceding twelve months. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for money that never passed through us in the first place.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
